I believe I have Clitoromegaly. My clitoris has been abnormally large my whole life. With recent research I have been hopeful that I may be able to change the appearance of my vagina. However, I never see before photos of vaginas as large as mine. Is it possible to fix clitoromegaly?
Answer: Clitoris reduction I reviewed your photos. You have a very large clitoris. What is the cause of your enlargement? Have you ever taken male hormones or had a hormone issue. You may want to see an endocrinologist to evaluate your hormone levels, but they are usually normal. Very few surgeons perform a clitoris reduction, since it is technically challenging and is rarely taught. It is an intricate procedure, since the sensory nerves have to be carefully preserved. I have done over 80 reductions without any loss of sensation or orgasmic ability. The clitoral reduction reduces the glans or head and also removes the erectile tissue in the shaft. After surgery, the clitoris will not stick out much or increase with arousal. The surgery is not very uncomfortable. It takes hours and includes clitoral hood reduction. A labia minora reduction can be done at the same time. As the inventor of the central wedge labiaplasty, I recommend this technique as it gives a very natural appearance. Gary J. Answer: Fixing clitoromegaly Clitoromegaly, whether congenital or related to hormone exposure (including past or current androgen use), can absolutely be addressed safely and sensitively. As a cosmetic gynecologist with over 20 years of experience, I specialize in precise, individualized surgical approaches designed to improve both the appearance and comfort of the intimate area—while fully preserving nerve function and sensation. What You Should Know: Clitoral reduction surgery (also called clitoroplasty or clitoral hood contouring) can reshape and reduce the projection of the clitoris or surrounding tissue for a more proportionate look. These procedures are custom-tailored—we carefully assess your anatomy and goals during consultation to ensure the best outcome. I’ve written chapters and lectured nationally on cosmetic gynecology, including procedures involving clitoral contouring, and have helped many women like you feel more confident in their bodies. While before-and-after photos of more severe clitoromegaly are less commonly posted online due to sensitivity and privacy, we do have examples that can be shared confidentially in-office during your consultation. We also combine our procedures with advanced recovery protocols, including PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and topical peptides, to support healing, reduce inflammation, and optimize results. I'd be honored to speak with you further and discuss your options in a private, supportive setting. We offer complimentary consultations and are here to help you feel comfortable and confident again.

Answer: Can my clitoromegaly be fixed? Hello, two methods can be applied to the size of the clitoris. This is decided after the examination. Clitoris protrusion can be hidden by applying filler to the inner sides of the labia majora, one of which varies depending on the size and structure of your vulva. At the same time, there is a chance to hide the clitoris by pulling it inwards and hiding it a little more with single or combined operations.
