My malar implants are visible. What can I do? (Photo)

Hello. In December I got malar implants. They looked great up until some months ago when my fave was swollen. But now that everything has settled, I can see my implants through my skin. Below the corner of my eyes. People keep asking me if I have been punched in my face.

So without a full photo its hard to say but if you can see the implant then you only have three options, try to cover the visible bit with fat or filler, easier filler than fat, try to move the implants or have them removed. I can imagine the last two options don't sound great so ask your PS what they think the right hing to do is for them and you.

Hi, I have performed many facial shaping procedures using dermal fillers, silastic facial implants (cheek implants, chin implants, lip implants), liposuction and/or facelifts for over 30 years.  From these limited photos, it appears that the upper edges of the implant might be what you are describing.  I typically will trim off that segment of the implant and then place them no higher than approximately 4 mm's below the inferior orbital rim = the top of the cheek bone.  If the implants are indeed up too high, they would need to be repositioned.  You may want to follow up with your Cheek Implants Surgeon" for a more thorough examination and recommendation.  Hope this helps.
