You can have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. I have my patients wear specific compression garments for these areas sometimes up to 6 months, as well I have them see my lymphatic massage specialist to promote tissue flow and perfusion

First of all, congratulations on your liposuction, tinky winky!
It’s normal for swelling to last for about six months to one year. Most of the swelling after liposuction peaks during the first couple of months, and then it becomes intermittent after that. Still, you won’t see your final results until around your sixth month post-op.
I suggest that you continue monitoring your calves and massaging the area to make swelling go down a bit faster. If you have any questions, please consult your reputable and board-certified plastic surgeon.
