At the American Academy of Dermatology meeting, A presentation was made regarding injection of minoxidil to stimulate hair growth. The results were favorable. The purpose of injection is to bypass the metabolism in the skin using sulfatase. Only 40% of people metabolize minoxidil properly. This type of treatment is risky because of the side effects of minoxidil. This includes lowering of blood pressure as well as palpitations. Hope this helps. Good luck.
