I am a female and have alopecia, some of my alopecia is scarring and some is hereditary. I am presently using rogaine foam 5% and I get cortisone injections once a month at the dermatologist office and I am also using various essential oils daily. I have new hairs growing on my hairline where I already have hair but the bald spots are still bald. I want to try PRP injections next. I have had 2 cortisone injections so far.
