I started to massage the area to remove the scabs very gently and hairs kept falling out that where lodged into the scabs. Have I lost grafts completely or have I just lost the hair that was in the scab and the graft is lodged in my head? Please help as I feel it's been a waste of time if I've massaged all the grafts out!?

Answer: It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen.
Hello, Thank you for your question. After FUE hair transplant, I normally suggest my patients to wait with haircut at least for 1 month. About the hairstyle, you can let your hair keep growing. Once the hair grown back, they will be as natural as your hair.
You really will not know until about 8 months out from the day of surgery. That number of grafts may be too many if the donor density was under average, see below
