Rubbing the donor area after FUE with damp tissue. Could this lead to side effects or abrasion?

On the 2nd night after FUE, I had way more antiseptic ointment on my donor area than I realized. It was making it hard for me to sleep. So I wiped it off using a dry tissue and then 3 damp tissues. Could this lead any knock on effect or abrasion?
