Rubbing the donor area after FUE with damp tissue. Could this lead to side effects or abrasion?

On the 2nd night after FUE, I had way more antiseptic ointment on my donor area than I realized. It was making it hard for me to sleep. So I wiped it off using a dry tissue and then 3 damp tissues. Could this lead any knock on effect or abrasion?

This is the result of excess crusting. Your doctor should have showed you how to wash off the crusts on day one and the problem that you have, not really significant other than the visible impact of it, will go away as the crusts eventually shed over time and with frequently shampooing

Thanks for your question. I recommend my patients to start with Rogaine 20 days after the surgery and it should be applied 2 times a day.

It looks like the transplants grew but if you have fine hair, a second hair transplant could have been predicted but based upon these photos, it will be needed anyway. More length will help.  I always tell my patients that a second transplant may be needed if there is not enough fullness p...
