Kybella is stored at room temperature and does not require reconstitution. The expiration date will be printed on the packaging/bottle.
Thank you for your question fiza tahir. I understand your concern. Kybella is the firstand thus-far only FDA-approved non-surgical injectable treatment for the doublechin. The double chin can be formed by various factors including age, weightgain, and genetics.Kybella comes in 2 cc vials. The manufacturer recommends using two vials per treatment. Each vial is to be used on a single patient. While Botox also comes in vials that are recommended for single use, many doctors routinely use the same vial for multiple patients. However, in the case of Kybella this is less common. This is because, unlike Botox where common doses are fractions of a vial, with Kybella most physicians use one, two, or three vials per patient. Please consult with a doctor for specificrecommendations. Good luck!
Each vial is indicated for one use only. It is not recommended to store any leftover either at room temperature or in the refrigerator because of possible contamination with germs.
As my colleague noted, kybella is stored at room temperature, and if recapped and sealed, it should be fine until the expiration date. Having said that, I find your question a bit curious, as I have never stored an open bottle. When treating the soft tissue of the neck, I usually use 2 full vials per treatment. Even with "off label" uses, such as jowls or fullness in the axilla or knees, I have never injected less than a full vial and have never had to consider storage issues. Make sure to see a certified physician and experienced Kybella injector to make certain that your outcome will be optimized.
Hi. I have never opened a vial of Kybella and not used it in its entirety. Like my colleagues, I never use any less than one or two vials per treatment and would not store an open vial of kybella. Thank you for your question.
Swelling can be asymmetrical and you can do massage and RF treatments to speed up the healing. Best, Dr. Emer.
Honestly I would not inject Kybella in that lower cheek area, as it's definitely an off label area to be treated, and that probably isn't a "fat issue" anyway. More than likely if you had fillers added to your upper/lateral cheek area, that would lift the area of your concern and make it appear ...
I personally would never use kybella this way but off label uses of kybella by an experienced injector can give good resutls.. if its been a few days or weeks its much too early to make a judgement on results or side effects
