I had a BBL on 2/27 with full torso lipo, including upper arms and inner thighs. I know swelling is still present since I am only 6 weeks post, but it has changed from hard bands to soft, subcutaneous swelling. Sometimes at the end of the day my abdomen moves like a waterbed. I was 168 pre-op, then at week 4 I was weighing at 157 and very slim. I am retaining more water and am back to 161 or 162. When will my body release the water? I am concerned because sometimes it feels like loose skin.

Answer: Swelling after Liposuction--After care includes RF treatments (Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra) Cellutone/zwave, hyperbaric oxygen
Hello. Great question. Congratulations on your procedure. Please schedule a follow appointment with your surgeon for a personal examination. At 3 days it is still normal for swelling to be present.
You actually do have swelling that will take up to 6 months to completely resolve. Please give yourself time to heal and follow all your post operative instructions.
A revision may be helpful, but you do appear to have some loose skin. ThermiTight, treating the area with radiofrequency, possibly could be beneficial, just based on your photos.
