Hello: - Tumescent Lipo with a lazer done a week ago under local anesthesia - 30 year old Male and weighed about 150 pounds - 1 liter removed My doctor told me that I only had to wear the compression garment for a week and then I would be back to going to the gym and could even go for a jog within a week of the procedure. That all turned out to be wrong and I'm still very swollen and now he say play it by ear. How long before the swelling goes down to a point where I can go to the gym etc?

You still have swelling at this stage and need to wear compressive garments to minimize the swelling. Make sure your garments are still tight enough or find something that is. It takes up to 6 months for all the swelling to subside.
You are still quite swollen at this stage and may feel the fluid. continue to wear your compressive garments. If you have questions, please call your surgeon.
