40 years old - I have Fibromyalgia which started after breast augmentation. Are there steps to avoid life long pain happening?

You may need the capsules removed as well whether it is covered by the insurance or not. Capsulectomy may also be associated with nerve injury that causes pain in the future as well.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

You can elect to have your implants out whenever you wish. There is much we do not know about Breast Implant Illness. There are no guarantees that removing the implants will improve current symptoms although it is sometimes reported by patients, nor prevent future pain. However if you are concerned that the link between your implants and the fibromyalgia exists, you may feel more comfortable with them out.

In most women with fibromyalgia, food allergies are a very significant part of the problem as well as heavy metals toxicity, like with hair dyes and tattoos. Implants can be removed, but may not be the problem. You might consider going to a training center for cheaper rates.
