Hello, I am a 29-year-old male who currently weighs 330lbs. I am in the process of shedding some excess weight and have already lost some 45lbs. Like many men who have suffered with lifelong obesity, I have attained a large pubic fat pad, which significantly reduces the length of my penis for obvious reasons. I'm wondering how much of the penis can be recovered with surgery, and are patients generally pleased with the finished result? Thank you.

It's very unusualTo remove more than 50 mL or so from the Mons. However in patients with a high BMI it might actually be more than this.

For any patient with a significant weight issue, the first step is to maximize your weight loss. Then liposuction combined with a pubic lift (to deal with the excess skin) can really make a difference in penile show. It may be possible that liposuction alone is adequate but this would be uncommon when there is weight loss involved.
