Hi i had rhinoplasty 10 days ago and i dont see a difference in my nose my doctor hasnt got back to me but to me i feel hump is still there. Im feeling fustrated i know iv to wait but its killing me to think my nose looks the same after all iv been through

Good afternoon. After rhinoplasty (nasal surgery), the nose can become REALLY swollen, and this swelling can take a LONG TIME to resolve (up to 1-2 years to fully resolve). At the time of this question, only 1.5 weeks postop, there would still be a significant amount of swelling present. Most of this should resolve within the first 2-3 months after surgery. I constantly remind all my rhinoplasty patients how important it is to be patient after rhinoplasty surgery as it can take months to even years to see what the final nose will look like.
