How Many IPL sessions required for Male Facial Hair Removal and how often?

Almost everything I've found online is regarding Females which I imagine makes a big difference. I've been shaving since I was 15 (32 now) and I'm over it. I have to shave everyday coz my hair grows out fast. The attached picture is not me but I have similar skin tone and hair in the same place although mine is BLACK. How many sessions can it take and how often they should be spread out? The place I'm going to is a beauty salon and I don't think they get many males.

A series of 6 treatments at minimum for laser hair reduction is recommended to achieve optimal results. Given the thickness and coarseness of the hair, you may require additional treatments(8-10). You are a great candidate given your black hair.  Since the IPL device is targeting pigment in the hair follicle, it is important that you shave prior to your treatment. For facial hair, a treatment every 4 weeks should get you well on the way to a reduction in unwanted hair. One thing to note, laser hair reduction does require maintenance treatments to maintain the desired results after a series of treatments. A maintenance treatment should be scheduled every 4-6 months after the completion of the original series depending on your rate of hair growth.

If you have stubborn,thick, coarse hair to start, you may require 8-10 treatments to see full result from your treatment. Purchasing a package would be very beneficial and going in 4-6 weeks apart. Seek to a medical provider who is experienced in all skin types and treating both male/female to ensure a result you wish to achieve
