What is the youngest age, someone can get an IPL facial done?

I am 16 and I have had dark freckles coceriing my face from a very young age. I was wondering if theres a certain age requirement and if not will the treatment work just as well?

You are not too young to receive the IPL Photofacial and the treatment is very effective in minimizing the appearance of unwanted freckles. With younger patients, I work closely with you and your parents in order to set goals and expectations for the treatment. In some cases, patients often see a 50% improvement after only one treatment.

IPL should normally be done on patients 18 or older, occasionally we do have teenagers coming in for small areas but would have to provide a parental consent. Risks of having IPL is the same as an adult and must be responsible and compliant, staying out of direct sunlight and applying spf daily
