I received liposuction a year ago and was left with a soft bulge near my belly button. My plastic surgeon offered a revision procedure to remove the leftover fat, but I do not want to go through surgery again. The recovery process was very difficult. It was a long and painful recovery and left scars, so I would like to avoid another surgery if possible.

I recommend Vanquish to all my post-liposuction patients.  After liposuction, I also recommend exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. We start treatments 3-4 weeks after liposuction. What you are demonstrating is suggestive of an underlying scar contracture often a result from loose skin that has not laid down as smoothly as desired. Everyone who writes on this page has seen this in one form or another from time to time if they do liposuction. We use Vaser Shape--a noninvasive dual head external ultrasound with regularity after our liposuction procedures. If residual fat is present Coolsculpt is available.  Kybella could also be effective but it may be costly due to the number of injections required.
