Best (Non-Invasive) Abdominal Skin Laxity Treatment? 41 yrs old, 2 kids (Photo)

Question

Hi! 41-year-old mother of two here looking to tighten loose abdominal skin. Stomach looks fine at rest but not when wearing pants or moving around. Want to wear a bikini this summer but this loose skin makes me too self-conscious to do so! I have been researching Morpheus8, BodyTite, Renuvion, etc...obviously would like to spend the least amount of money to yield the desired results. What do you think would be the best course of treatment for my degree of laxity? Thank you!!!

Hi Cc1515,Thanks for sharing pics.  You appear to be a good candidate for the Renuvion subdermal coagulation treatment.  It is accomplished with through a small incision, so recovery is not very involved. You will always experience some pleating of tissue when you bend over regardless of the technology b/c the change in position.  Best wishes, Dr. Doolabh

Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

In truth, non-surgical options give only mild improvement compared to surgical lifting. Skin tightening can be done with a combination of Vanquish, truSculpt iD, Venus Legacy, Exilis, Cellutone/Zwave. We use a radiofrequency laser called the Viora ReFit protocol, which is a series of treatments that help stimulate collagen and tighten lax skin. The results are beautiful. This would be a great option for you if you are wanting to pursue a non-surgical approach. Thank you for your question. Based on your photos, I believe surgery would give you your best results. Any non-surgical option in my opinion would leave you unsatisfied. That being said if you only desire a non-surgical option I would recommend the BodyTite with Morpheus 8. I recommend consulting with a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area for an in person consultation. Inmode will be releasing either a 6 or 8 mm Morpheus head.
