Can a patient with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome get RF skin tightening?

January 30, 2020

In the last couple years, I have developed mild/moderate jowling, crepe-like skin along my neckline, and a worsening double chin. I would love to do a skin tightening procedure involving radio frequency both on the skin and sub-dermally. However, I was recently diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome involving joint and, as my doctor explained it, very mild skin laxity. My biggest fear and concern is that such a treatment would make my jowls and neck worse. Please advise. Thank you in advance.
