I've heard that injecting Botox at the philtrum column will make the upper lip less protruding and make the upper lip thinner, is that true? I've also heard someone ended up having thinner lips due to injection to the depressor septi (close to the orbicularis oris muscle), Thank you for reading and answering my question

Looks like the left side may be slightly lower when you smile. could try a mentalis injection of botox to correct it. It probably won't be completely symmetric after though.
Is the line there only after Botox - and it resolves as the Botox wears off? If so, then it has do with the way the facial muscles are being pulled (or not pulled as the case may be) while relaxed with Botox. There may be ways to adjust the injection sites if it is directly attributable to the botox
Botox into the chin or mentalis muscle can help with dimpling of the chin and decrease the pebbled appearance of the chin. Depending of the direction of the muscle pull it can also subtly alter the chin shape.
