It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results. If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor
onyx54,Wish that you provided high resolution before and after pictures. Hair transplants take time to grow out. Sturdies and personal experience show that most growth takes place between 4-12 months post surgery but there can be some further maturation with thickening of results between 12-18 months post hair transplant. All the best, Bernardino A. It is highly unlikely that a vellus hair will turn into a terminal hair 17 months after a procedure. While you may see an occasional hair grow 18 months after a procedure, most of the hair will grow by 8 to 12 months. It is exceedingly uncommon to see new hair growth after 18 months. The good news is that with sonicated PRP we are seeing up to 80% growth from the grafts at 3 1/2 months.
I don't understand how you could have had an exclusive vellus hair transplant. Please explain further
A bad hair transplant results are permanent and very difficult to fix. You cannot undo it. You may be able to hide the scarring at best.
Always check with your surgeon for specific pre or post operative instructions. There is no absolute rule on spicy food, alcohol, etc.
Always check with your surgeon if you want to have a procedure like Botox. There should be no issues in general after 2 months.
Always consult with your doctor before having any medical procedure. If you have metal (such as staples) it would be an issue with MRI.
If you have diffuse thinning you probably would not be a good candidate for surgery. You should see a doctor for the right diagnosis.
You should see a doctor for an examination for a better recommendation. You may need a few thousand grafts as your hair loss will likely get worse over time.
