How many grafts to restore temple? (Photo)

Question

How many grafts will I need to restore my temple? I had been on fin and had added oral minoxidil and had great success. But then during a move I didn’t take fin for about a month and lost everything I gained on oral min and then some. How many grafts will I need to restore that side/corner of my hairline? I am back on finasteride now. Will I still continue to lose or will this be now that I am back on?

The fact that you had a good response to oral finasteride and minoxidil is very good, and you should continue with them to prevent the hair loss from progressing. Regarding your hairline, since you are willing to continue the medical treatment with the pills, I think you are a great candidate for a transplant to restore it. As far as number of grafts, based on the pictures I would say somewhere around 800 to 1,000 follicular units (grafts). I would recommend an FUE procedure.
