Is Daxxify now approved for areas beyond the "11s"?

Question

Excited to FINALLY hear a neurotoxin is on the market that does not contain human albumin!! Any doctors using it yet and can tell me how the results have been? Can it be used beyond the "11s"? Does it last as long as Botox? Thanks for any info

Daxiffy can definitely be used beyond the 11s! It has excellent results on the upper face as well as on the lower face as well. We have been seeing great results up to six months and even up to nine months in the Glabella area on almost all of our patients. The forehead and crows feet have been lasting about six months for almost everyone as well. The lower face has been lasting a little bit less, but Botox doesn’t last that long there either. I think it’s been lasting about twice as long as Botox in that area but Botox typically lasts about six weeks so maybe 10 to 12 weeks for Daxxify.

Thanks for your question. Daxxify can be used in any region and is the only tox on the market that is free of human or animal byproducts. Our experience is that clients get twice as long a duration as they were used to getting, assuming of course that they receive the appropriate 'dose' of Daxxify for the region. That's another way of saying if you "light dose"/"under-dose" any tox, including Daxxify, you will decrease the duration of the effect. The recommended dose of Daxxify between the brows is 40 Daxxify units. Daxxify units are completely different from the units of the other brands, so don't get hung up on the 'number' of units but think rather in 'recommended dose'. If you do the 'recommended dose' then it typically has a very long duration of effect. I hope that helps.
