Can combining Daxxify with other injectables like Juvederm lead to bad reactions or alters results? I use Juvederm regularly and would like to prevent this if possible.
Answer: Daxxify Safety...How safe is it to combine Daxxify with other injectables? Hello, As with other neuromodulator injections, Daxxify is safe to use in combination with other injectable fillers. The only time that it would not be safe to use Daxxify with other treatments is if those treatments are apt to cause swelling the in area treated (eg laser treatments.) Please feel free to contact me with any further questions or concerns regarding Daxxify. Good luck and be well. Dr. Persky Encino, CA

Answer: Daxxify Daxxify is a neuromtoxin that can be used to treat dynamic wrinkles. The benefit of Daxxify over other neurotoxins is that it is created a bit differently, allowing its effects to last several months longer. You can continue to use fillers such as Juvederm at the same time as Daxxify.

Answer: Combining for better results! Combining Daxxify, with other injectables, such as a Juvaderm and other fillers can lead to better results! Combining neuromodulators and fillers, often helps to lead to better results. Neuromodulators help to prevent muscle contraction and fillers volumize. Combining both of them will lead to a more natural and complete rejuvenation.

Answer: Daxxify and filler interaction Hello! There is no data on the Daxxify manufacturer's website (Revance Aesthetics) indicating adverse reactions or cross-reactions with filler products. Fillers, such as Juvaderm, are made of hyaluronic acid, which is a substance that naturally occurs in the body and gives skin a full, hydrated and supple appearance. Fillers eventually resorb over time because the enzyme hyaluronidase, made in the body, slowly breaks them down. Hyaluronidase is also made in a manufactured (synthetic form), which is what is used to dissolve filler voluntarily if needed. Similar to other botulinum toxin products, Daxxify should not cross-react with filler products in an adverse way because they target a very specific nerve to muscle receptor that is entirely different than hyaluronic acid. From a chemistry standpoint, they are different. Also, it would not be in the best interest of any company to sell a neurotoxin that cross-reacts with hyaluronic acid fillers as many of the patients that use one also use the other. Other adverse effects of the Daxxify listed from the manufacturer are still possible, but unrelated to the presence of hyaluronic acid filler as is currently known. Hope that helps shed some light on the new neurotoxin, Daxxify!
