First photo taken today 7 months after lower facelift be neck lift. It has been recommended that I get Bella fill in my face instead of having a revision. My goal for a facelift was to pull up jowls and within six months my face fell back down. Is Bella Filler ever used instead of a revision? Thank you in advance for answers..
Answer: Permanent fillers are not worth the risk It is disappointing that you feel that your results from surgery did not last. This is not possible to assess but your lower face contours remain youthful and beautiful. Tighter is not better. Certainly, Bellafil is not the answer you are looking for. In particular, for adding volume to the jaw line and upper cheek I would never recommend this product. Gather your before and after photos consider another opinion with an experience Plastic Surgeon. Best regards, Dr. Mosher

Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Robust HA Fillers Can Work Well For Nonsurgical "Liquid Facelifts" Bellafil is a permanent filler. Besides the concern for the development of adverse reactions, such as future nodule and granuloma development (not just immediately following treatment, but even five, ten or twenty+ years later), Bellafil works by stimulating fibrous tissue formation, which accounts for the elevation. And this generally takes some time to occur. Especially since we have so many safer, non-permanent fillers that can give durable results, some up to two years, I do not see the need for use of more risky, permanent fillers. At least from the photos provided, an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist injector using robust HA fillers should be able to reestablish a more feminine, oval, heart-shaped face, as well as contour, straighten and define the jawline (i.e. taking care of the jowls there). You would be wise to consult with an experienced physician injector to explore this approach. Hope this helps and saves you from more expensive and invasive surgeries and from the use of potentially problematic permanent fillers. Best of luck.
