I desperately want to fix my teeth. Specifically, each of the teeth next to my front teeth. I don’t want braces because of my corporate profession and many presentations I give. I’m also not loving the idea of Invisalign, again my profession and the lisp I hear that could come with them. Am I a candidate for vaneers on those two teeth? They are slightly turned and overlap my front teeth just barely. Can they be shaved down off my front teeth and have vaneers placed?

Answer: Veneers for crooked teeth Hello, I believe you can consider veneers to fix your lateral incisors. I recommend doing veneers on the front six teeth at least since this will give a better esthetic result. The teeth will have to be reduced more than they would if you first bring them into the correct position with braces or Invisalign and then do veneers. The dentist can show you a diagnostic wax-up and determine ahead of time how much reduction will be required in order to give you the smile you want.

Answer: Veneers for lateral incisors In your case the lateral incisors being undersized and slightly out of position would make you an ideal candidate for veneers. I would recommend having a diagnostic wax-up done where a prototype is built based on those models. The wax-up can provide provisionals while your porcelain is being made (if you go that route) and help you and your dentist design your final smile. If you decide on only 2-4 veneers than the veneers will be custom made to your exact tooth shade. Custom shaded teeth with natural luminosity and opacity will create an aesthetically beautiful outcome with no downtime or speech impediment.
