I have an upper lip scar. Only in that portion my moustache is not growing. How to remove it? (photo)

I had an accident about 5 years ago. I got a scar on my upper right lip by the hitting of car's windshield. I had an surgery for this too but it doesn't work at all. My moustache is not growing in that portion. The scar is about 3.5cm in size. After my first surgery my upper lip is joined with the scar and lip gets lifted up. I want to get rid of it. It feels so bad and ugly. Please help me.

Dear vishnuomer02, Unfortunately it is possible that you may not have hair growth in that area since the scar tissue that has formed does not contain hair follicles. One non surgical solution would be to shave your mustache so that the area that is not growing hair is not as obvious. You can have a scar revision, but that could leave you with an even larger scar. I would schedule an in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in hair transplants, you could potentially have that procedure done if you want to keep your mustache.
