Hard scalp sticky dandruff after FUE. 3 weeks post-op.

Question

I had my procedure of 3000 grafts on 10 September and my recovery is very good. But after my first PRP session i got a layer of blood on my head and it accumulated and merged with dandruff, it is not coming out unless i scratch it. I tried Nizoral twice a week but no luck as of now, can i used lemon + coconut oil, tea tree oil etc. natural method for the dandruff now ? Or can you suggest me something ? I had this kind of sticky dandruff before the procedure too.

Hello,
Dry scalp is fairly common after hair transplantation.  Lots of solutions here including use of conditioner, antibiotic ointment, vaseline.  A great first step is to contact your hair transplant surgeon and see what solution works best for you.

It is best to contact your doctor about post operative care and instructions since each doctor has a different regimen.  If you don't feel you can wash it well enough, go back to see your doctor and your doctor can help you remove the crusting.

Never pick off the crusts or the blood, but nyou wan wash it off with a good shampoo and using your fingertips gently rub the grafted area were the crusts are. At 3 weeks, there is nothing you can do to harm the grafts
