My Dermatologist suggested to do PRP and Minoxidil together. Is it ok to do both together?

I'm 20, And I'm not sure to use minoxidil, cuz it have lot of side effects. My Dermatologist told me that i have AGA, But I'm Just 20, why Hairfall Started So Early.

You can use minoxidil and prp. Just make sure you do not use it b oth at the same day. On the day of prp treatment do not apply minoxidil

It is not uncommon for AGA to start in the late teens or early twenties if there is a strong family history. We commonly use Minoxidil, either oral or topical with PRP. It has a very good side effect profile compared to it's response. Hair loss is multifactorial and the addition of minoxidil to PRP increases the effectiveness.

Not only is it good to get PRP and minoxidil together, it’s actually highly recommended to use topical hair treatment and even laser treatment in conjunction with PRP.

PRP should never be used alone- this is adjunctive and continued management for hair loss. Medical treatments form the basis of therapy- Minoxidil topically and orally, DHT modulators, anti - androgens. PRP has to be repeated for hair loss to be under control. Consult a dermatologist.
