The best way to determine what specific changes will look good on your face, and what changes are surgically possible, is to do your research to find the top rhinoplasty specialists and consult with several of them in person. During your consultation, your photos can be computer-morphed to show how the changes to your nose will affect your appearance. The amount of cartilage that is necessary depends on the degree of tip projection and dorsal augmentation you want to achieve (how tall you want to make your nose). If you only want a conservative amount, it may be attainable with cartilage harvested from your septum. African American rhinoplasty is grouped into the category of "Ethnic Rhinoplasty". Personally I don't like all of the different "classifications" especially in light of increased inter-racial marriage. I take the attitude that everyone is an individual and their goals are specific to their own certain desires. That being said there are certain tendencies in different racial groups. Looking at your photos show that compared to your goal photos, your dorsum is lower, and your tip and nostrils are wider. I think your goals are reasonable. You will certainly need dorsal grafting. This can range from needing rib graft to using diced cartilage in a fascial sleeve. You almost certainly not have enough septal cartilage to donate. This is where an exam and further discussion with evaluation of photos comes in. I suggest going to a good rhinoplasty surgeon to get further evaluation and advise. Good luck.
