How Can I Improve the Texture of Orange Peel Skin (With Rosacea)? (photo)

Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery.

Hi GTA.  For large pores associated with the inflammation common to Rosacea, we recommend pulsed dye laser treatment.  Usually a treatment program with 4-6 visits and ongoign maintenance is required as Rosacea ia chronic condition that usually worsens over time.  We use the Cynosure V-star pulsed dye laser and results can be seen below.  

One of the best techniques for skin texture improvement is sublative. It delivers radiofrequency energy into the upper layers of the dermis to stimulate new collagen production. Skin texture and the appearance of enlarged pores are dramatically improved. I would pair this with a pulsed dye laser (Vbeam) treatment to clear your redness and enlarged vessels. 

I would suggest a series of photofacials to help decrease the redness,and reduce the pore size.Consider using Vivier anti-redness skin care products for further reduction in erythema and dryness.
