I've obviously had some issues with my left breast, however now my right one is crazy too. I am 3 months post opp and my implant is sitting really high. They aren't hard so to say, however when I bend, there is a hard spot. It is sore and firm but not completely hard. Thanks for the help.
Answer: Implant dropping Dear srn0128, I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery. Answer: Implants Whether you have a capsule that is holding up your implant, or your pocket is too high holding up your implant, the treatment will be about the same. Please discuss this with your surgeon.

Answer: High Riding Implant Good afternoon, If it isn't hard then it likely just hasn't dropped fully yet. At 3 months there may still be some time for it to drop and fluff, and if you were my patient I would have you doing lots of massage- otherwise you're looking at a revision to improve your symmetry.

Answer: Breast firmness Thanks for your inquiry and pictures, breast firmness and superior location of the implant can be a couple of things most notably early capsular contracture vs implant malposition as you noted. Please discuss with your surgeon strategies to treat each possibility. If you have early encapsulation your surgeon may add Singulair, an anti-inflammatory medicine. Both may improve with massage and a breast bandeau worn over the top of the breast, good luck.

Answer: Has my implant just not dropped or am I developing capsular contracture? (Photo) Thank you for sharing your question. Unfortunately without an in-person examination it will be impossible to tell at 3 months after surgery. I would recommend discussing with your surgeon as they know the full history of your recovery.
