I've lost 130 lbs. I currently weight 145 lbs at 5'9. I have loose skin on my inner thighs buttocks, breast & stomach. I want a BL, bbl & implants. 1) However, if I do the the body lift first; lifting the loose skin, will I have enough fat to transfer from my body for the Brazilian butt lift later? 2) Will I be able to get implants at the same time as my breast uplift? 3) Is it possible to do all the procedures at the same time? 4) What questions should I ask the surgeon at consultation?
Answer: Multiple procedures After 130 lb weight loss, you have stretched the skin of your breasts, abdomen, buttocks and thighs. It would be impossible to do all these procedures at the same time.I would begin with the breast lift.If you are happy with the volume of your breasts in a bra then implants are not required. However, you do need a lift and I recommend a new technique called The Ultimate Breast Lift™.The breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. This technique avoids the ugly vertical scars of the traditional technique, maintains nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed. After the breast surgery, I recommend Abdominoplasty with Mesh Reinforcement. The mesh increases the mechanical strength of the abdominal wall resulting in early satiety, weight loss and maintains the reduced weight. After the abdominal surgery, I would consider the anterior or posterior thigh lift. The last procedure would be fat transfer if you have adequate tone of your skin to support fat grafting.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: How to start These procedures cannot be done in one sitting. If you just have loose skin and not much fat then it really doesn't matter how you proceed first. It really depends on what you want. If you have excess fat that can be transferred to your buttocks for improved shape then that should be done first. Implants and a breast lift can be done at the same time. You just need to seek consultation from a board-certified plastic surgeon.

Answer: Concerns about breasts and butt after significant weight loss It is unlikely that you will have adequate skin tone for a BBL. More likely, you will need to undergo a body lift; your buttocks can be made larger at that procedure by your surgeon by shifting tissue from you hips to buttocks. Depending on whether or not your breasts are drooping after your significant weight loss will dictate whether or not you need a breast lift along with implants. Obtain a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in these procedures.

Answer: Post bariatric reconstruction Congratulations on your weight loss!Without a complete physical exam --- it is impossible to accurately assess. However, generally speaking after a massive weight loss a patient is left with excess skin that needs to be removed -- usually in stages. So, again you need to schedule an appointment with a qualified Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who specializes in Post Bariatric Reconstruction.

Answer: Massive weight loss Photos would have helped with more useful responses.Simple answer to one question--these should not all be done at once. I would ask you what bothers you the most, and usually start there. If neutral, I would probably favor the body lift first, and in all likelihood try to build up the buttocks with tissue that would otherwise be tossed. Many weight loss patients do better to have an augmentation and breast lift done separately, but this is a case by case decision, and involves safety. Consultation with a plastic surgeon will be the way to review your options. All the best.
