Just fell on stairs after 6 days post op after breast augmentation. Did I mess up my results?

Question

I just fell going up my stairs because a bee was chasing me! I caught myself on the rail so my arm went up and caught all my weight and really pulled at the muscle I am in a lot of pain it hurts near my armpit the worse but my left breast also really hurts. I have not noticed any swelling. I tried calling my surgeon but they were busy. I'm afraid I have really messed up.

Anytime you have an unexpected trauma after surgery, it is best to be evaluated by your surgeon.  Chances are you are fine. Concerning signs would be significant swelling or bruising of one breast.  Your surgeon should not be too busy for you. Be persistent and get evaluated. Best wishes.

Sorry to hear about your incident. I would suggest trying to call your plastic surgeon’s office again to explain what happened and seek his or her advice. You’re most likely okay, but it’s not a bad idea to go in for a check up just to make sure that everything is still healing okay. In the meantime, keep an eye out for significant swelling or pain. Hope you feel better soon!
