Can I still get dermal fillers if I am allergic to dust mites?

I get dermatitis on my eyelids due to a confirmed dust mite allergy. All the information for dermal fillers say that people allergic to gram positive bacteria would risk contraindications. I’m not sure what the specific allergens in dust mites are made of, whether they are bacterial or not, but would it still be safe to get filler if you have this particular allergy?

Hi @rlf2000! The reason why HA fillers are not advised on pregnant or breastfeeding women is because it has not been studied on pregnant women.

You shouldn't have any negative side effects with fillers. It is very rare for fillers to have any contraindications. Confirm with your injector, but you should be totally fine!

It is not possible to accurately identify hyaluronic acid fillers in the face with ultrasound. It is possible to identify large pocket of fillers but these are also obvious because of localized fullness in the face. The other issue is that these fillers are runny a drift in the face. This...
