I had surgery for a deviated septum 5 years ago. Like most rhinoplasty, your nose continues to grow and change. Mine cause my septum to become hard, preventing my upper lip from rising when I smile and also my nostrils to enlarge. How can this be corrected?

Tape can help reduce swelling after rhinoplasty but is not used to "hold up" anything. So I wouldn't worry too much about it coming off. This frequently happens, especially in patients like yourself who have oily skin.
