The wound was not closed tightly at the ER. The wound was very deep and split in the middle . How long can they stay in? I can't afford to return back to the doctor to have them checked out. These pics were taken today.

stitches in this area should be done properly, meticulously, and come out typically no later than 14-21 days.  I suggest you speak to your surgeon and take the sutures out then start your wound healing protocols.  Best, Dr. Emer.
