Thanks for your question! Redness like this is uncommon especially hours after the treatment. You may have an allergic reaction to the serum used an the grit of the tip may have been to rough for you. I would call the provider who did the treatment and explain your concerns 

Redness and skin sensitivity is normal after receiving a Diamond Glow/ Silk Peel. This can last up to 24- 48 hours post facial. If you have any underlying skin conditions (including undiagnosed conditions you may be unaware of) such as dermatographia, eczema, psoriasis, topical allergy etc. this can increase your skins reaction to this type of treatment.

I would recommend, if this reaction has not subsided within that time frame, to contact your medical provider (personal care physician or dermatologist) to see if there is something going undiagnosed that needs to be addressed.

So sorry for your experience post treatment. The treatment may not have been adjusted properly for your skin type. When situations arise like this I would discontinue all active ingredients and stick to soothing gentle products to help sooth and heal the skin additionally you can ice the general area. Alway make sure to communicate your post treatment experiences with any providers that will treat your skin in the future. I do hope this helps!

No, redness like this is not normal. Your skin should look bright and refreshed after one of these treatments. My thought is that either the topical(s) they used on you, you might be allergic to, or something they applied on you post treatment.
