Can a septoplasty and bone spur on one side of deviated septum be done during a balloon Sinuplasty?

Septoplasty can be performed with balloon sinuplasty for chronic sinusitis and correcting a deviated septum. If its done in the office, it'll be very limited and the septoplasty will likely only target the bone spur. 

 A septoplasty is a surgical procedure performed under general anesthesia in an outpatient surgery Center. Endoscopic Sinus Surgery is also performed usually under general anesthesia at the same time. Limited sinus disease can be treated with balloon sinu-plasty in the office, but there has not been a long-term followup with this technique yet. Hello sflynn0476,A balloon sinuplasty can be done in the OR or in the office.  A septoplasty to removed a deviation or a bony spur is typically done in the operating room.  This can all be done at the same time in the operating room.  If you are doing it in the office then likely your septum will not be addressed.  if the deviated septum is the cause of the sinus problems, then ideally it would be corrected at the same time.  I would discuss the plan with your surgeon so you know exactly what to expect and what you are getting.  I hope this helps and good luck.
