I've been feeling really insecure and hopeless about my appearance, mainly its the lower part of my face that bothers me. I have a short lower jaw and a long upper jaw which makes my face look long and small in width. My mouth looks like i have an orange peel in it all the time.

Answer: Short Chin Ideally you need orthodontics and jaw surgery for a first line treatment. The next best treatment would be a sliding genioplasty to move the chin bone forward. This would be the best way to treat the lip incompetence and mentalis strain.

Answer: Small chin On your photos it appears you have malocclusion(misalignment of your bite) and retruded chin. You need to consult with a dentist and possibly an oral surgeon to determine the best treatment for you whether with orthodontics or possibly jaw surgery. You certainly would benefit from aligning your bite.

I have performed many facial shaping procedures, including Chin Augmentation with dermal fillers or silastic chin implants, for over 30 years. From the photos, your chin is very weak. When the chin is weak, this creates an imbalance making the nose appear larger, the mid face top heavy, the lower face looks short, de-emphasizes the lips and allows early formation of a "double chin".
