Lymph damage from liposuction?

Question

I've been to every kind of doctor and specialist trying to figure out why my legs are swollen at the end of the day, especially if I wear tight pants (I'm a pilates instructor), wear heels, or go in the heat. I had liposuction on my thighs 4 years ago and my body has been messed up every since. My plastic surgeon says it has nothing to do with the surgery. I had cellulitis on my calf right before the surgery, I have raynaud's so also have poor circulation. Please help! I obsess about it!

The lymphatics that are responsible for drainage of the lower extremity are quite deep and would never be approach by conventional liposuction.

I agree with below.  Liposuction rare causes prolonged swelling.  It sounds as if you have poor circulation to begin with.  If you have had all the appropriate workup then this is likely a result of your underlying conditions.  I wish you the best. Dr. Emer.

Hello dear, thanks for your post.What's the best type of post surgical massage? Are they Effective?  
 I always recommend my barbies to have a peaceful recovery. I know that 
sometimes we can get stressed out after surgery, we're emotional, and

that the Lymph is a liquid in the body that helps fight disease, and 
during a lymphatic drainage massage, light strokes are used to help move
 this fluid around the body and drain excess lymph.  These 
massages has to be performed by a professional and they're not used for 
weight loss... They're going to help you during your healing process and
