I'm only 19 and I've seemed to gain an extreme excessive amount of weight. I've tried eating healthier and exercising but I still can't seem to lose any of the weight, instead I just keep gaining! I weigh roughy 255+ I haven't been able to check myself recently but I'm sure I'm nearly 260. I can't seem to lose any of the weight, and the two main areas are stomach and thighs. Not to mention far then to large breasts, which with weight and them together have caused some pretty bad back problems.

Answer: Liposuction not for weight loss Thank you for your enquiry. Liposuction should not be considered as a treatment for being overweight or a means to lose weight. In fact best candidates for liposuction are those who are at their ideal weight but have localised fat deposits which they cannot get rid of despite regular exercise and keeping a balanced diet. Please do not consider surgery until you are within normal BMI, as any surgery at this stage would not only leave you unsatisfied but will put your life at risk and also increase the risk for complications during and after surgery. Best wishes Allen Rezai M.D.

Answer: Liposuction for weight gain Unfortunately, Liposuction is not the answer to total body weight gain. Liposuction is an excellent procedure for someone closer to normal body weight with localized areas of fat deposits such as the abdomen, thighs, back, neck and arms.I recommend a good diet and excercise program watching calorie intake to reduce your weight closer to the normal weight for your body type and height prior to consulting a board certified plastic surgeon.
