I have had 4 rounds of Kybella over 1 year. Each round consisted of 2 vials. Do you think I have scar tissue? Or do you think I just need two more rounds of Kybella? Or should I just throw in the towel? I don't have the money for Lipo at this point.

Answer: Does Kybella Cause Scar Tissue? Kybella Can Be Used Til You Get Desired Results It's not unusual to need five or more treatments with Kybella when you have a good deal of submental fat. You have gotten good results thus far and so should continue to benefit from treatments. If you are frustrated by needing to do so many treatments, take a break until your body completely eliminates the fat cells. I like to wait at least a month between Kybella sessions. Please see a board-certified dermatologist to get your Kybella treatments.

Answer: Kybella overtreating If you would have asked a plastic surgeon, I believe they would have told you to have lipo in the first place. Four rounds of Kybella is likely more expensive than doing submental lipo in the office or in the outpatient setting, is minimally invasive, and is a one-shot procedure usually. However, now that you're committed, another round of Kybella won't really hurt anything, and you have had a good result.
