Do kenalog shots have a good outcome most of the time or do people always experience indentations?

I had a kenalog 10 injection last week to make a scar flatter. My doctor made me signed a waiver saying all these side effects of kenalog. Im now just very worried that i will get indentations on my or around scar area.

Hi RH.  Yes, Kanalog and other steroids can cause indentations if too much product is injected.  The key it to get to the point where the bumpy scar is blanched but not over-inject after that point.

Kenalog is an effective treatment for scarring. I recommend combining with lasers and microneedling/prp to get the most improvement for scars. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
