CoolSculpting is a great way to help shape and contour the body by eliminating targeted fat pockets. However, it is not recommended for individuals who are overweight. Therefore, if you want to lose the weight without surgery, adopt a healthy lifestyle plan that includes eating a balanced diet and exercising regularly. Further, you may want to consult with your primary care physician as well as nutrition and fitness professionals to help. After you lose the weight, consider CoolSculpting as a great way to compliment and refine your results.
Hello, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately CoolSculpting works best on individuals who are already at their ideal weight and want to minimize pockets of fat. With that being said, many will use it in conjunction with their weight loss journey as an incentive, and to target their stubborn zones. But CoolSculpting can not be used for weight loss. Good luck!
Thanks for your question. CoolSculpting is a great treatment for body sculpting however it is not a weight loss procedure. If your doctor determined a Gastric Sleeve is your best course of action, then I would follow that recommendation. You can always revisit CoolSculpting once you have reached your objective weight to tweak any of those stubborn areas that diet and exercise seem immune to. Best of Luck!
Hi,Thanks for your question. CoolSculpting is not for weight loss. It should only be performed if you are at or near a healthy weight. Good luck.
Thank you for your question! Coolsculpting is indeed an excellent treatment, however, it is not a weight loss procedure. Coolsculpting is great for body contouring. For someone who is looking to lose weight, Coolsculpting is not your answer. This treatment is best for patients who are at their goal weight but are looking to target those stubborn areas where it is difficult to smooth out through traditional diet and exercise.
Hi! CoolSculpting is not weight loss but body contouring. If a GS was recommended I would follow the lead of your doctor. Once you have reached your goal weight CoolSculpting may be a way to tweak stubborn areas to help improve contour. Good luck to you!
You need to lose weight first before undergoing any cosmetic procedure to get the best outcome. For best results, it is recommended to be at your ideal or stable weight before getting Coolsculpting. Coolsculpting is not a weight loss procedures, rather it is for removing problem areas that cannot be removed with weight loss and diet / exercise alone. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a bariatric doctor or dietitian. Best, Dr. Emer
If you are more than 10-20 pounds over your ideal weight, then I would not recommend CoolSculpting. Once you reach your goal weight, it would be a great time to use CoolScultping to sculpt your body and show off your hard work! I recommend making a consultation with a reputable, certified plastic surgeon.
Thanks for your question. I would recommend that you find a reputable CoolSculpting provider and have an in person consultation to decide if CoolSculpting will be appropriate for you. It is important to note that CoolSculpting is not designed as a tool for weight loss, but as as means of sculpting the body. The ideal candidate is within 10-20 pounds of their ideal weight. What can be accomplished for those on the heavier side is to smooth out the figure, and have less bulges and rolls to deal with. Clothes can fit better and the overall appearance can be improved. But, overall weight will most likely not diminish an any significant way. Also, you must be aware that CoolSculpting will only reduce the fluffy subcutaneous fat. Deeper visceral fat, that is harder, will not respond to CoolSculpting. So, this is why a live consultation is so important. Good luck with your personal journey of transformation.
Unfortunately, you are not an ideal candidate for CoolSculpting. CoolSculpting targets specific fat pockets and bulges. It is not meant as a weight loss tool. However, you could revisit CoolSculpting if you undergo sleeve surgery and have pockets left after the procedure. Good luck!
Hi Dear You are right, there are cases with PAH and incident is low 0.0051% but still there. Thank you for pointing that out. Patients need to know all the facts before doing any procedure. Thats why there is a consent form that patients need to read before signing it. Sincerely, Ramtin...
