I am 2 days post op for breast augmentation. Ever since my surgery, I can almost taste my bad breath.

I had my husband check for me, and he confirmed that my breath smelled. I am taking hydrocodon acetaminophen, and wondering if that could cause it? I'm drinking tons of water.

Thanks for your question. Avoid wearing an underwire bra and add some padding in the incision area to avoid irritation from rubbing. Consult your surgeon about his/her specific requirements.Hope this helps,Dr. JSB

Hi... Thank you for the question and photos.... It seems to be you are having a hypertrophic scar issue... I suggest you the use of silicone sheets to help reduce this

Thank you for your question.  You could be allergic to your pain medications or your antibiotics.  I would suggest you contact your operative surgeon and discontinue the medications.  You can take Benadryl for the itching.Best of luck

Thanks for your question.  One potential option to soften the appearance of the upper part of the implants and provide more coverage of the ribs is fat grafting / lipofilling.
