Will exercise melt remaining fat after Liposuction? (photos)

Always best to do aggressive fat burning diets and exercises. But correction of residual contour deformities are quite resistance to these options. But worth a try... 

It is probably a bit soon after your procedure to predict whether this bulge/irregularity will settle down.  There will certainly still be some post-operative swelling present.  Massage generally helps, I find.  Doing crunches won't help change this area.  I would wait a full 6 weeks after your procedure before looking too closely at your results. 

Was the bulge present since the liposuction or did it become evident later?  Was there bruising around the bulge?  The firm, tender surrounding tissue suggest that there is inflammation (trauma from liposuction? bleeding? fat necrosis?).  It is only 2 weeks post surgery.  It is too early to be certain.  If it is swelling it will likely resolve over time.  If it is residual fat it will persist.  You should wait about 6 months before a decision is made.  Massage may help.  Exercise and abdominal crunches will not be beneficial.  A revision would be a minor procedure, done under local anesthesia.  I would suspect the fee not to be expensive.
