Thanks for the question.Binders can be cleaned in the washer and dryer. When they get too worn out or stained, it's not a bad idea to get a new one. If your surgeon has his own office surgery center, he may give you another one for free or at cost. Most pharmacies also sell them. I am sure amazon and other online companies also carry them.As far as wearing them- You can wear them as long as you like. After the first few weeks of surgery, most patients feel comfortable wearing them most of the day. That is ok. It is also ok to take a break for an hour or two if you are lying down. It is interesting that most patients like to wear them for a few months after surgery. They feel more secure with them. Good Luck!
A soft comfortable t-shirt worn underneath the compression garment usually tends to help with irritation and comfort and keeps the compression garment cleaner over a longer period of time. Check with your plastic surgeon's patient coordinator to determine washing instructions as not all plastic surgeons purchase garments from the same manufacturer. If the PS who performed your lipo allows you to remove the compression garment at bedtime, wash it then.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
It's always a good idea to have a backup garment so that you can clean one while wearing the other. Most garments can be washed on gentle and hung to dry, and this takes time. I recommend getting another garment to solve your problems! Best of luck to you!
Hello,Thank you for sharing the information, it is a pleasure for me to answer your question. If your surgery is very recent, only for two hours you can stop using it if you need to wash the belt,so it is recommended that you consult your plastic surgeon, for any concern.I hope this answer will help youMy best wishes for you...
Vascular lasers and radiofrequency lasers have been shown to help in our practice, sometimes meotherapy as well. This is from overly agressive liposuction. Best, Dr. Emer.
Unfortunately medi-cal does not cover cosmetic procedures, but based on your picture you seem to be a good candidate for a full tummy tuck for a nice flat abdomen, always see a board certified PS best of luck.
Thank you for your question. I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with your plastic surgeon, as these may be signs of an infection. Best of luck.
This will require an exam to determine if a revision will help. You need to find someone who really understands underlying abdominal musculature to produce as natural a result as possible. To correct this in a fit person is much more challenging. Find an American Board of Plastic Surger...
Liposuction is really your only option to make an improvement in your buffalo hump. It does do very well and may come back years later but thank god lipo is always around to fix it.
