Is it possible to break out / acne 2 months after plastic surgery?

I had buccal fat pad removal and chin Implant surgery on September 7 2018 . On December I started breaking out and getting acne mostly around my cheeks . And also my forehead. I never had acne problem . The dark spots of my pimples don’t seem to fade .the first pimple I had the dark spot I still can see it and it’s January . Is it because of the surgery I had ? Is my skin taking a while to heal ? I still feel a little swollen sometimes on my cheeks/ nothing major .

If you had the acne breakout within a week or so of the procedure I might be concerned that you had a reaction to something in the operating room, but 2 or 3 months later?  No.  I don't believe that these two events are related to each other.  There is nothing involved in the procedure that could cause a skin problem at such a late date.On a separate note, I hope you like the results from the buccal fat removal - it's a nice procedure.Good Luck!

It is possible to break out with acne after any elective cosmetic plastic surgery procedure including buccal fat removal. 
It is very unlikely that buccal fat removal performed 2-3 months before is the cause of a new acne break out. 
Patients with new onset of acne should consult with a doctor specialized in acne treatment.
