Based on your photos, you do seem like a suitable candidate for a buccal fat pad removal procedure. This procedure can provide slimming in your lower cheeks. Removing the right amount of buccal fat on the right patient should cause no unwanted after effects. From your photos it appears you are a good candidate for a buccal fat removal procedure. You seem to have fat in the mid-face, just below your cheekbones and just above your jawbone. This is where the buccal fat pads are located. The procedure is done in an office-based OR under local anesthesia. It is easy to go through and recover from. Make sure you pick a surgeon with plenty of experience with this procedure as there are certainly some tricks that are important for an optimal result. Great question!  Depending on your goals, a buccal lipectomy can help improve your facial shape by shrinking down the lower cheek region.  By doing this, the jawline and the cheeks become more defined and contoured.  Another treatment to think about is Botox to the posterior jawline as this will also help slim the face from a more squared to a more oval appearance on the frontal views.  However, it is always best to have an in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon so that your goals are reviewed and the best treatment recommended

Patients who have a chipmunk cheeks ( "fat cheeks"), double chin and face skin laxity could benefit from several cosmetic plastic surgery procedures to slim down the lower haft of the face.

I currently use both buccal fat removal AND cheek liposuction to slim the face.  I have found that buccal fat removal alone creates a rather subtle outcome, so I've added the microcannula liposuction to enhance the outcome in some, but not all cases.I think you're a fair candidate for either or both.Good Luck!

The buccal fat pad is a rounded mass of fat in the middle of your cheek. It’s located between facial muscles, in the hollow area beneath your cheekbone. The size of your buccal fat pads affects your face shape.
Everyone has buccal fat pads. However, the size of buccal fat pads can vary greatly.
If you have larger buccal fat pads, you might feel like your face is too round or full.
You can be a candidate for a Buccal Pad removal surgery.

Buccal fat removal is used to help slim the lower part of the face.  In general, we lose fat in our faces as we age, so many patients opt to have this procedure done when they are younger as their faces are quite full.  Having said that, the first two photos show fullness in your lower face, which may make you a good candidate for this procedure.  The best recommendation is to have a consultation with a board certified specialist who can assist you with achieving the results you seek.  3-dimensional computer imaging can also help you visualize what you may look like afterwards and serve as a good communication tool with your surgeon.
