In my opinion, there are no formal studies to document that concentration makes a difference with PRP injections as long as you are above three to four times blood. Furthermore, studies are lacking that the addition of a matrix prolongs or enhances the results. In fact it is a foreign protein that may lead to some adverse effects. However, if you're getting good results with your PRP expert, stick with them.

Prp is effective, but I have a very specific protocol, every 3-4 weeks for 6 months with prp therapy.  I also add in progesterone to speed the healing process.  After that the injections are tailored down.  You should also be on viviscal and other growth promoting ingredients. Thanks for your question. Pricing will vary per region. While it is true that concentration is important, most studies suggest 3-4 times the original concentration, I utilize the Harvest system which is a very high quality system with numerous studies demonstrating a consistent higher concentration product and we charge $900 per treatment. There is no study that demonstrates that the matrix products that are being used actually offer any benefit.
